Description: South Korea's K200 is an amphibious armored personnel carrier developed by Daewoo Heavy Industries & Machinery, now Doosan Infracore, based on US AIFV. Doosan Infracore developed a complete family of armored vehicles based on the K200/Korean Infantry Fighting Vehicle tracked chassis. These vehicles are powered by a diesel engine rated at 350-hp and weigh roughly 13 tons. The Korean Army took delivery of first K200 vehicle in 1984. Several thousands vehicles have been produced for South Korea so far. Malaysia remains as the sole export customer.

KAFV40 is an infantry fighting vehicle variant of K200A1 delivering greater firepower. It is equipped with turret operated by the gunner. The turret is fitted with side-by-side 40mm K4 high speed grenade launcher and .50 caliber machine gun. KAFV40 has been deployed within Korean Army mechanized infantry and cavalry units.
