Description: The AI-22 is a turbofan engine derived from DV-2 engine core and designed to power the next-generation short-range airliners Tu-324 and Yak-48. The AI-22 modular design consists of 10 modules with highly developed monitoring and diagnosis systems to ensure on-condition operation. The AI-22 by-pass engine is provided with FADEC control system and rated at 8,421-lb at takeoff.
