Description: The NK-93A is a low consumption, high by-pass ratio turbofan engine designed to power next-generation Russian airplanes such as the Tu-330 cargo transport aircraft. The NK-93A develops 20,000 kg (44,091 pounds) of thrust at take-off.

The NK-93A engine is an alternative engine for military versions of the Tu-330 cargo transport aircraft. The Tu-330 powered by tow NK-93s will have greater flight range than Tu-330 powered by PS-90A engines.
