The PW4000 112-inch fan engine is the second derivative model in the PW4000 engine family (following PW4000-94 and PW4000-100 models) and are rated between 74,000 and 98,000 pounds of thrust. It has been selected to power Boeing 777 airliners with the first engine PW4084 rated at 86,760-lb entering service in June 1995 powering a United Airlines' 777-200 model.
The PW4074, PW4077 and PW4082 engines from the PW4000-112 family are rated at 74,000, 77,000 and 82,000 pounds respectively. The PW4000-112 engines feature fuel-consumption efficiency and excellent environmental performance with reduced emissions, as well as ease maintenance.
