Description: Trent 800 engines were developed to power Boeing 777 airliners providing thrusts ranging from 75,000 to 95,000 pounds. It evolved from Trent 700 engine and its three-shaft configuration and second generation hollow titanium wide-chord fan technology makes the Trent 800 engine lighter than its competitors.

The lightweight, high-thrust Trent 800 engine has secured 44% orders for Boeing 777 aircraft. The Trent 875 engine powering the Boeing 777-200 entered service in 1996.
