Friday, January 18, 2008 Government of Canada contract worth $1.4 billion awarded to Lockheed Martin for the supply of 17 CC-130J Super Hercules tactical airlifters and related equipment and services. Deliveries to Canada will begin in 2010 through 2013. The AE 2100D3 engine contrat awarded to Rolls Royce was valued at $135 million. The deal was announced on January 18, 2008.
