Description: The Ivchenko-Progress TV3-117VMA-SBM1 is a turboprop based on the gas generator of TV3-117VMA helicopter turbine designed by Klimov plant. In addition, the TV3-117VMA-SBM1 also incorporates the reduction gear from the AI-24 turbine. This reliable and cost effective engine is intended to power regional turboprop aircraft. The engine responds to a two-shaft, modular design with advanced monitoring and diagnostic system.

The TV3-117VMA-SMB1 engine has been selected to power the Antonov An-140 twin-engine turboprop passenger aircraft.
