Description: The PAP Plus is a lighter and shorter range version of PAP remotely operated mine disposal system designed by ECA for the localization, identification and destruction of bottom and tethered mines. This new development is also intended for minehunter vessels being operated remotely. The PAP Plus can dispose mines utilizing either a NATO explosive charge or RECA, a charge developed by ECA. Two versions are available with different length (2.7 to 2.9 meters): PAP Plus Basic and PAP Plus VS 300. So far, the PAP Plus Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) has been ordered by the Turkish Navy.
