Description: The Seafox is a wire-guided remotely operated vehicle (ROV) designed to locate mines and attach disposal charges to them depending on the mine's design. The Seafox can detect, locate and identify mines and sea objects. It is connected to the mine-hunter ship via a glass-fiber cable.

The expendable Seafox UUV is normally deployed from surface ships but the US Navy is developing a variant, called the AMNS, tailored for deployment from helicopters (MH-60S and CH/MH-53).
