Description: BTR-70 is an 8x8 armored vehicle developed by the Soviet Union as the successor to BTR-60 wheeled vehicle. It is powered by two 120-hp gasoline engine and is fitted with special layered armor for enhanced protection. BTR-70 serves as a high mobility troops transport and is equipped with a turret-mounted 14.5mm gun.
