Description: SEP (Splitterskyddad Enhets Plattform) is a family of lightweight, modular wheeled and tracked vehicles designed by BAE Systems Hagglunds to meet the requirements of the Swedish Army. This highly mobile and deployable family of vehicles can be transported by C-130-sized aircraft. Its modular design allows for a wide range of roles such as troop transport, logistics and/or infantry fighting vehicle. The SEP development contract valued at SEK 500 million was issued on July 17, 2006, by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). The contract calls for production of two SEP tracked and wheeled vehicles and an initial operational capability by 2014.
