Turkish Armed Forces procurement of 51 A129 combat helicopters under ATAK (Tactical Reconnaissance and Attack Helicopter) program. AgustaWestland in partnership with Turkish Aviation Industries (TAI) will assemble and deliver 51 helicopters. The Turkish government, AgustaWestland and TAI signed the ATAK contract in September 2007. AgustaWestland share in the ATAK program is worth EUR 1.2 billion.
