Spanish government purchase order for five AS532AL Cougar helicopters, two EC135s and four AS355NPs from Eurocopter. Direccion General de Trafico (DGT) will receive two EC135s and four AS355NPs worth 20 million Euro. The Spanish Army FAMET will take delivery of two Cougars and the remaining three aircraft will be provided to the UME. The Cougar contracts are worth 40 and 76 million Euro respectively.
