Saudi Arabia government agreement with the United Kingdom (UK) government for the purchase of 72 Typhoon multi-role fighter aircraft under Project Salam. This agreement is the result of negotiations started in December 2005. The agreement was released on September 17, 2007. Rolls-Royce disclosed that the engine contract was valued at �1 Billion on December 7, 2007.
