Government of Turkey order for an additional 30 Advanced Block 50 F-16C/D aircraft for the Turkish Air Force (TUAF). The contract between the United States and Turkey was signed on May 11, 2007. Lockheed Martin will deliver the F-16 aircraft components and parts which will be assembled in Turkey by TAI. In addition to the F-16 aircraft, the deal also included associated equipment, weapons and services with a total value of $1.8 billion of which Lockheed Martin and its supplier base were receiving $1.1 billion. The F110-GE-129B engine selection was announced in July 2007.
