Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) procurement of 24 Boeing Block II F/A-18F Super Hornets announced March 2007. These aircraft will replace the F-111 aircraft within the RAAF. The F414 engine contract was valued at $428 million including a two-year support package and 10-year performance based logistics (PBL).

Republic of Indonesia order signed with Rosoboronexport for three Su-30MK2 and three Su-27SKM multi-role fighters. The deal was announced at the Moscow Air Show (MAKS) on August 21, 2007. Deliveries to the Indonesian Air Force are scheduled to start in 2008 and will continue through 2012.

Thailand selection of Gripen fighter aircraft and Erieye Airborne Early Warning (AEW) aircraft for the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF). RTAF requirement was for 12 Gripens as the replacement for aging F-5A/Es and two Erieyes. The agreement was announced October 17, 2007, with the aim to conclude a formal agreement. This program was valued at roughly $1.1 billion with aircraft deliveries beginning in 2010 and will continue through 2017. The final agreement encompassing two single-seat C Gripens, four twin-seat D Gripens and two Saab 340 aircraft, only one of them equipped with Erieye radar system, was announced on February 11, 2008. The contract was valued at SEK 2 billion for Saab. Deliveries were expected to take place during 2011.
