Australian Government order for 34 additional MRH90 helicopters valued at approximately AUD $2 billion in addition 12 aircraft ordered in 2005. This second order was announced on 19 June 2006. Australian Aerospace is responsible for the assembly in Australia of 42 out of 46 MRH90 helicopters. On 20 March 2007, the Australian Department of Defense selected the Rolls Royce Turbomeca RTM322 engine to power its second order MRH90 helicopters.

French Defense Procurement Agency (DGA) order for up to 68 NH90 TTH helicopters on behalf of the French Army. The deal, valued at 1.8 billion Euro, was announced in late November 2007. The order issued November 2007 includes 12 firm order helicopters. It is expected that DGA will place a second order for 22 helicopters in 2008. The remaining 34 helicopters will be ordered in 2010. The French Army will use the NH90 helicopters as the Puma replacement beginning in 2011.
