Australia Selects Spanish Design for its Air Warfare DestroyerNews >> Sea Power >> Sales & Contracts Released on Wednesday, June 20, 2007We are proud to be selected by the Australian Government to provide the designs for the ships that will provide the RAN with the core of its next generation of combat capability, and to be given the opportunity to work with Australian industry to deliver those vessels. The Australian Government and the RAN are recognised worldwide as demanding customers for naval equipment, and Navantia is very satisfied to have met their rigorous standards. Navantia looks forward to working together with the AWD Alliance and Tenix on these two projects, as well as with governments at all levels throughout Australia.
