Bell Delivers Huey II Helicopter to Kern County Sheriff's Office

BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 17, 2008) - Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced the delivery of a Bell Huey II helicopter to the Kern County Sheriff's Department. The helicopter will significantly enhance the ability of the Sheriff's department to perform its wide ranging responsibilities throughout the county.

Sheriff Donny Youngblood said, "This Huey II helicopter will increase our capability to transport law enforcement personnel (SWAT), conduct search and rescue operations and aid in environmental disaster operations across the wide spectrum of terrain found in the county."
