Brazil Grants Type Certification For Challenger 300 and Challenger 605 Business Jets

Bombardier Aerospace today announced the Challenger 300 and Challenger 605 business jets have received Type Certification from the Ag�ncia Nacional de Avia��o Civil (ANAC) of Brazil on January 22, 2008 and December 20, 2007, respectively.

"This latest milestone is exciting news for Challenger 300 and Challenger 605 jet operators in the region," said Fabio Rebello, regional vice-president, sales, the Americas, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "In addition to paving the way for our customers to register their aircraft in Brazil, this approval allows for substantial operational advantages and increased access to support and maintenance services in the country".

Both aircraft are attractive solutions for corporate travel requirements throughout the world. Offering true transcontinental range, the Challenger 300 business jet can fly S�o Paulo-San Juan non-stop with eight passengers and a full payload*. The Challenger 605 jet can whisk eight passengers from S�o Paulo to Miami non-stop*.

In addition to these Challenger program milestones, both a Challenger 300 jet and a Challenger 605 business jet were recently delivered in Brazil.
