DanaJets Places Order for an Embraer Legacy 600 Business Jet

S�o José dos Campos, July 21, 2008 � Embraer and Nigeria's DanaJets, a charter division of Dana Airlines, have signed a contract for one Legacy 600 executive jet. The aircraft, in a 13-seat configuration, is scheduled for delivery in late 2009. The value of the deal, at list price, is US$ 26.93 million, based on January 2009 economic conditions. This order is already included in Embraer's second quarter 2008 firm order backlog.

This is the second order by the Nigerian company that announced a deal for three other Embraer executive jets � two Phenom 100s and one Phenom 300 � in November 2007, during the Dubai Airshow. The delivery of the Phenom jets is expected to begin in 2011.

Dana Airlines is a subsidiary of the Dana Group, a long-established conglomerate with 30 years of involvement in various sectors of the Nigerian marketplace. The airline is headed by its Chairman Ramesh Hathiramani, and will begin its operations in 2008, offering VIP charter flights.
