EADS Defence & Security Delivers IT-Infrastructure to NATO HeadquartersNews >> Electronic Gear & Sensors >> Announcements Released on Tuesday, January 15, 2008A key factor has been the excellent collaboration with EADS' strategic partners Hewlett Packard (IT-equipment and related services) and Cisco-Systems (network components), which remarkably contributed to this success. The main objective of "Project 24" is to extend the Public Access (PA) domains for the NATO Headquarters (HQs) Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum/NL, Allied Component Command Air HQ Ramstein/Germany and Allied Component Command Land HQ Heidelberg/Germany. Under this project, system components are provided such as workstations, laptops, local networking hardware, COTS-software, servers, a storage system, and full contractor support to install the system and provide training.
