Embraer Delivers 1,100 ER 145 Family JetNews >> Civil Aviation >> Announcements Released on Tuesday, June 02, 2009Based on the bestselling platform of the ERJ 145 regional jet, with nearly 900 jets delivered to airlines, worldwide, since 1996, the Legacy 600 has become increasingly popular with private owners, charter operators, corporations, and governments. The Legacy 600 shares important qualities with the regional jet platform, including low fuel consumption, reduced operating costs, ease of maintenance, and outstanding reliability. It is customized for the needs of the executive aviation market, with a range of 3,400 nautical miles, or 6,297 km, topquality interior finishing, three distinct cabin zones, excellent comfort, and global assistance at dedicated executive jet service centers. The aircraft will be managed on behalf of its owner by London Executive Aviation (LEA), one of Europe's leading business air charter operators. Award-winning LEA operates a diverse fleet of 25 executive aircraft from seven bases in the United Kingdom. The company has extensive experience in operating the Legacy 600, and the new aircraft will join two others presently in the LEA fleet.
