FMS: Pakistan Seeks AN/TPS-77 Air Surveillance Radars

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified the Congress of a possible Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to Pakistan of AN/TPS-77 Air Surveillance Radars as well as associated equipment and services.

The government of Pakistan has requested a possible sale of six AN/TPQ-77 Air Surveillance Radars, support equipment, spare/repair parts, etc. The estimated cost is $100 million.

The AN/TPS-77 radars will be employed by the Pakistani Air Force to improve its air defense capabilities replacing obsolete air surveillance radars currently deployed in Pakistan.
