FMS - Foreign Military Sale
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified the Congress of a possible Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to the United Kingdom of Tomahawk Block IV land attack missiles as well as associated equipment and services.

The government of the United Kingdom has requested a possible sale of 105 Tomahawk Block IV land attack missiles, also known as Tactical Tomahawk or TLAM-E, as well as containers, engineering support, test equipment, operational flight test support, etc.

The estimated cost with all options exercised could be as high as $143 million.

These cruise missiles will be employed by the United Kingdom to replenish missiles expended during operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. The Royal Navy already has Tomahawk missiles deployed aboard nuclear-powered submarines. Eventually, the Tactical Tomahawk missiles purchased by the United Kingdom could be deployed aboard Astute-class submarines.
