PARIS AIR SHOW - June 20, 2011 - GMG Airlines and Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners have signed an exclusive maintenance services agreement. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX) company.
Under the exclusive three-year agreement, Eagle Services Asia, Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners' Singapore-based engine overhaul facility, will provide engine overhaul services for the airlines' PW4060-powered fleet of Boeing 767-300 aircraft.

"This agreement strengthens our partnership with GMG Airlines, which already includes engine maintenance agreements and spare engine agreements covering other Pratt & Whitney-powered aircraft in its fleet. We are excited to continue our relationship with this agreement."

Based in Bangladesh, GMG Airlines - owned by the industrial conglomerate Beximco - started operations on April 6, 1998. It began with domestic services and launched international flights in September 2004, with flights between Chittagong and Kolkata. With eight international and five domestic destinations, GMG Airlines offers 234 flights per week. GMG's international route consists of Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Kathmandu, Kolkata, Karachi, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Riyadh. In domestic operation it serves Dhaka, Chittagong, Cox's Bazaar, Sylhet and Jessore.
