Guggenheim Aviation Partners Selects Pratt & Whitney PW4000 Engines in Deal Valued at Up to US$160 Million

PARIS AIR SHOW, France, June 22, 2007 � Guggenheim Aviation Partners, LLC, as manager of Guggenheim Aviation Investment Fund II, L.P., has ordered PW4000-100" engines valued at up to US$160 million to power up to four new A330 freighter aircraft. Engine deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2010. Pratt & Whitney is a division of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).

"Having previously purchased Pratt & Whitney-powered B747-400, 767 and MD11 aircraft, we are delighted to now include the PW4170 on our new A330-200 Freighter aircraft," said Paul Newrick, managing director, Guggenheim Aviation Partners, LLC. "We are excited to bring the improved economics of the Advantage70 technology upgrade to our airline lease customers."
