Montenegro Airlines and GECAS Sign Agreement to Lease Two Embraer 195 Jets

S�o José dos Campos, August 1st, 2007 � Podgoricabased Montenegro Airlines, from the Montenegro Republic, has signed an agreement with GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS) to lease two EMBRAER 195 jets. Deliveries are scheduled for May 2008 and May 2009. There will be no changes to Embraer's orderbook due to this announcement.

The aircraft will be fitted with a dual-class interior, comfortably seating up to 116 passengers, and will be used to extend the existing airline's fleet on current European network, as well as to reach new, more distant destinations, primarily in Russia, U.K. and Scandinavia.

By introducing the EMBRAER 195 in a dual-class configuration on its intra-European network, Montenegro Airlines will be offering its customers one of the roomiest commercial airplanes of the continent."

Montenegro Airlines' EMBRAER 195 jets will be the first equipped with a business class in Europe. The model is already in operation with a single-class layout in the U.K., with Flybe.

The EMBRAER 195 is the fourth of four members of the E-Jets family, a new generation of aircraft designed specifically for the 70 to 120 seat segment. Adopting a clean sheet design, Embraer's E-Jets are engineered to maximize passenger comfort with exceptional performance and superior operating economics. On June 30, 2007, the E-Jets family order book had logged 655 firm orders and 719 options, totaling 1,374 aircraft to 38 operators worldwide.
