Patria Signs Contract with Denel Land Systems for the Delivery of 264 AMVs

Patria has today signed a contract with the South African defence manufacturer Denel Land Systems, a division of Denel (Pty) Ltd for the delivery of 264 Patria AMV vehicles for the South African infantry fighting vehicle programme.

The programme covers the development, industrialisation and serial production of wheeled infantry combat vehicles in five different versions. The first vehicles will be manufactured in Finland, after which the production will be gradually transferred to South Africa. Patria is responsible for the platforms and manufacturing of certain key components. The programme has significant, long-term employment effect also in Finland.
