Pilatus Delivers First PC-12 NG to USA-based Western AircraftNews >> Civil Aviation >> Announcements Released on Tuesday, May 27, 2008During the 2006 National Business Aircraft Association convention, Pilatus announced that they would launch a completely revised version of the legendary PC-12 aircraft. The PC-12 NG features a number of significant improvements over its predecessor, including a fully integrated Honeywell Primus Apex avionics system, a completely revised cockpit designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA, and a more powerful Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A engine. Through these revisions the PC-12 continues its leadership as the world's best selling business turboprop. In March of this year the PC-12 NG received both EASA and FAA certifications. Speaking at the delivery ceremony, Mr. Thomas Hunziker, President and CEO of Pilatus Business Aircraft, Ltd. stated: "This important day marks the beginning of a new chapter in the PC-12 success story. Pilatus works hard to deliver best in class capability and we have no doubt the PC-12 NG will continue this legacy."
