Pratt & Whitney Canada Signs Deal With Standard Aero for Over 500 New PT6A Engines

NBAA - ATLANTA, Ga., Sept. 26, 2007 - Pratt & Whitney Canada, a United Technologies (NYSE:UTX) company, has signed a five-year agreement with Standard Aero for 531 new PT6A series engines under Pratt & Whitney Canada's Converter Enhancement Program.

Based on this agreement, Standard Aero Limited of Winnipeg, Man., will use the Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) engines for various turboprop aircraft upgrade programs under Supplemental Type Certificates.

P&WC's Converter Enhancement Program allows companies like Standard Aero that offer modifications and conversions to purchase and install new engines on specified aircraft.
