"It underscores the competitiveness of P&WC's innovative programs and the strength of our global customer support network to fully meet the maintenance needs of operators powered by our PW600 engines. "The Fleet Management Program (FMP®) agreement with DayJet Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of DayJet Corporation, provides comprehensive coverage for hot-section inspections, overhauls, basic unscheduled engine removals and engine trend-condition monitoring. "P&WC's pay-by-the-hour FMP coverage will enable DayJet to better plan its engine maintenance expenditures," said Mark Reed, DayJet Vice President, Maintenance Operations. "This agreement adds considerable value by taking the guesswork out of our engine maintenance program, while providing very attractive cost guarantee protection and enhancing our overall competitiveness." The FMP agreement with DayJet and other fleet operators is one aspect of P&WC's initiative to provide robust support to PW600 engine operators as they enter service. The company is also offering innovative maintenance coverage to individual operators in collaboration with aircraft manufacturers through comprehensive programs. Additionally, P&WC has extended its Eagle Service Plan (ESP®) to PW610F-powered Eclipse 500 operators in Europe to support their engine maintenance needs.
