Pratt & Whitney Receives Three Service Agreements from Delta Air Lines

MRO US, ATLANTA, Ga., April 18, 2007 Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company, signed three Global Service Partners (GSP) part replacement and repair agreements with Delta Air Lines. Together the agreements are valued at approximately $900 million.

The first award, a PW2000 Materials Management Program (MMP) 10-year agreement, covers Delta's current fleet of 121 PW2000-powered Boeing 757 aircraft, as well as additional aircraft planned for future fleet growth. The agreement extends and enhances an existing 15-year materials agreement between Pratt & Whitney and Delta signed in 1996.

The second award is a 10-year PW2000 parts repair agreement that covers Delta TechOps' third-party MRO customers. Combined with the PW2000 MMP, the PW2000 repair agreement provides Delta with a single source for PW2000 part replacement and repair services.

The third award, a PW4000 integrated logistics program, extends an existing part replacement services agreement for one year on Delta's current fleet of 35 PW4000-powered Boeing 767 aircraft.

Pratt & Whitney has become a key strategic partner of engines and services," said Tony Charaf, senior vice president, Delta TechOps. "Pratt's comprehensive part repair and replacement offerings provide us with a single dependable source of PW2000 material. This strategic partnership supports our growing maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) business."

Delta Air Lines operates the world's largest PW2000-powered Boeing 757 fleet," said Jim Keenan, senior vice president and general manager, Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners. "As a strong engine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and flexible MRO supplier, we are pleased to provide Pratt & Whitney's unique OEMRO™ capabilities to Delta for the life of their engines."
