Slovenia Purchases Urban Environment Combat Training Center from Saab

Saab awarded a contract for a Mobile Combat Training Center by the Slovenian Armed Forces

On 5th December, Saab Training Systems in Huskvarna, Sweden, signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense in Slovenia for an instrumented training system. The order includes a mobile CTC (Combat Training Center) and equipment for training in urban environments.

This contract strengthens our position as Europe�s leading supplier of advanced military training systems. We also expect that the cooperation with the professional Slovenian Armed Forces will provide vital input for further enhancements of the system�s capabilities, performance and functions," says Johan Ohlson, CEO of Saab Training Systems.

The contract includes systems for tactical training for mechanized units in open and urban terrain. It also includes simulation of combat service support elements and equipment that facilitates interoperability with other simulator systems to enable joint exercises with other nations.

Saab Training Systems develops manufactures and markets advanced military training materiel such as laser simulator systems, instrumented training systems and services such as servicing and maintenance of supplied systems.
