TAME CONFIRMS OPTIONS TO PURCHASE TWO EMBRAER 190 JETS

So José dos Campos, June 14, 2007 Embraer announces that TAME Línea Aérea del Ecuador has confirmed two contracted options of the EMBRAER 190 jetliner. With the new order, the State-owned Ecuadorian airline further ratifies its choice of Embraer's E-Jets. Since 2006, TAME has been operating two EMBRAER 170 and one EMBRAER 190 jets. The two new aircraft should be delivered by the end of 2007, increasing the number of E-Jets in TAME's fleet to five.

"We are very proud of TAME's decision to increase its E-Jets fleet," said Luiz Carlos Siqueira Aguiar, Embraer's Executive Vice President, Defense and Government Market. "Over recent years, TAME's aircraft have shown excellent results, in terms of availability and operating efficiency. We are certain that the new E-Jets will contribute to the success of the company's plans for expanding and modernizing its fleet and we reaffirm our commitment to the company."

"The decision to add two more EMBRAER 190 jets to the company's fleet was very important, because it allows TAME to use new aircraft to effectively continue contributing to the development of the aviation market in the country," said the President of TAME Línea Aérea del Ecuador, General Fernando Martínez de la Vega. "This decision is based on the success achieved by operating this type of airplane, which was first acquired in 2006, that has boosted passenger demand, due to the reliability, safety and convenience it offers, in addition to advanced technological systems."

In the Defense area, Embraer's aircraft fly for over 20 countries around the world, including seven governments which operate the aircraft for transporting public officials.
