IAE'S V2500 TO POWER VISTAJET FLEET EXPANSION

International Aero Engines announced today (November 13) that Swiss-based VIP charter operation VistaJet had chosen the V2500 to power three Airbus Corporate Jetliners in a deal valued at more than $50 million. The aircraft deliveries are scheduled for the first half of 2010 and all engines will be the SelectOneTM configuration.

IAE Senior Vice President Customers Phil Harris said: "We are delighted to welcome VistaJet to a growing number of Airbus Corporate Jetliner customers who have selected the V2500 not only for its current lead in terms of low emissions and fuel burn, but for the further advantages the SelectOneTM model will introduce next year."

VistaJet CEO Bing Chen said: "VistaJet customers expect the highest standards in terms of reliability and performance and we, in turn, expect the same from our suppliers. IAE's V2500 is the market leader in terms of low fuel burn, lowest overall emissions and world-class reliability a level of performance which fits with VistaJet's values."

VistaJet plans to configure the ACJs with 19 seats and use them for expansion plans in the Russian and Asian markets. The company, which operates from Austria and Germany, currently has a fleet of 28 Bombardier Learjets and Challengers.

The 22,000-33,000lb of thrust V2500-A5 is available in seven different thrust settings to power the Airbus A319, A320 and A321 family of aircraft as well as the A319 Corporate Jet.
