NVGs were around in Persian Gulf, although their use was limited to special classes of people such as Special Forces, Pilots, Tank Drivers, etc. Their uses, I believe, was rather limited. GPS- Similar to that of NVG, limited to special groups. GPS was larger then the Civilian copies currently on the market so many soldiers ended up just buying them so they wouldn't have to deal with the Military version. TV Battlefield supervision will have to go someone else. I think the answer to that depends on what you are asking. Post Reply
