The ALTV (ACMAT Light Tactical Vehicle) is a 5-ton class 4x4 modular vehicle family designed to provide maximum flexibility. Thanks to its Euro 2 and 4 emissions compliant turbo diesel engine developing 170-hp it can achieve a maximum speed of 170 kph. The ALTV can transport up to 10 persons, four inside cabin and six in the rear compartment, or a 1.4-ton payload over ranges from 800 to 1,600 kilometers. The vehicle can be airlifted by C-130, C-160 and A400M aircraft or CH-53 helicopter. The ACMAT LTV vehicle family is available in ALTV SC (short cab) and ALTV DC (double cab) versions.
The ALTV can be equipped with small caliber weapons such as 12.7mm and 7.62mm machine guns or a 40mm automatic grenade launcher as well as anti-tank and anti-air missile systems.
