The FK-2000 is a mobile short-range air defense system similar to the Russian Pantsir-S gun and missile system. The FK-2000 combines two high rate-of-fire automatic cannons with 12 surface-to-air missiles capable of hitting targets at distances of up to 25 kilometers while firing on the move. The new weapon system is intended to engage fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, including unmanned air vehicles (UAVs), as well as cruise missiles flying at low altitude. China unveiled the FK-2000 close-in air defense system in October 2021 integrated onto an 8x8 truck system.

The FK-3000 is a new variant of the FK-2000 equipped with 24 surface-to-air missiles with a maximum range of 12 kilometers. The FK-3000 is equipped with only one cannon and is aimed at countering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) specially kamikaze drones. The new air defense system was unveiled in November 2022. The FK-2000 and FK-3000 radar system has a maximum detection range of 25 kilometers.
