The TGM is a member of the Trucknology Generation (TG) military vehicles based on commercial truck technology developed by MAN. The TGM is a medium-weight truck and falls in the 12 to 18 tons category of military truck systems. MAN TGM vehicle is available with several highly versatile axle variants, wheel drive configurations and engines as well as three cabs options, which are also available for the TGL truck, and additional military equipment. The fuel and electric/electronic systems are provided according to military requirements such as fuel tanks additional armor plates.
MAN TG (TGA, TGM and TGL) vehicles also feature: roof hatch for observation; rifle holders for the entire crew; camouflage covers for windows and mirrors; military towing eyes and shackles in front and rear; military trailer couplings at various coupling heights; easy opening protective grilles for rear lights and headlights; movable entry step for off-road operation; and massive radiator grille to protect against damage during off-road operation and stone impact in convoys.
