The F90MBR is a further version of the Thales F90 5.56x45 assault rifle introduced in 2014 and ordered by the Armies of South Korea and Australia. The F90MBR is NATO compliant and features a modular bullpup rifle design which provides optimal support for modern infantryman. The new assault rifle incorporates NATO tri-rail system, fully ambidextrous forward bolt, and a lightweight design of roughly 3.25 kilograms. This weapon is optimized for amphibious operations with the soldiers being able to swim and fire with accuracy of up to 600 meters. Thales introduced the F90MBR in September 2017.
