The US Army Re-scalable Aperture for Precision Targeting Radar (RAPTR) is a next generation modular tactical radar system developed by Northrop Grumman. The new radar system utilizes building blocks to go up and down following customers requirements. The RAPTR radar system family will fit into a wide range of platforms using a different number of building blocks while at the same time fulfilling a wide range of mission requirements. The radar is capable of functioning in multiple modes such as synthetic aperture radar (SAR) and ground moving target indicator (GMTI).
