The Strelets, 'Arrow' or 'Sagittarius' in English, is an helicopter launching system for up to four Igla-S air-to-air missiles in two-missile arrangements. It supports both single or multiple simultaneous launch against airborne threats, with the simultaneous launch using different launch units. Besides, the Strelets launching system can be installed on land vehicles and surface ships operated remotely forming a short-range air defense system. The launch unit weighs 72 kg or about 119 kg with four missiles with the control equipment weighing no more than 254 kg. The Strelets launching unit has been ordered by the Russian Army and at least one export customer.
