The WZ-10 is a 1,600-KW turboshaft engine developed by China to power the People's Liberation Army (PLA) Harbin Z-20 medium-lift helicopter. The more powerful engine is intended for operations at altitudes above 4,000 meters. The new engine is expected to be fielded along with the Z-20 helicopter beginning in November 2018.
