The I-Derby is a family of all-weather, air-to-air and surface-to-air missiles developed by Rafael featuring an active radar seeker with look-down and shoot-down capability. The I-Derby missile family also features lock-on before launch mode and programmable electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM). The missile was fully tested, proved and deployed by the Israel Air Force in the mid 2000s.

The I-Derby beyond visual range (BVR) missile entered service with the Israel Air Force in the mid 2000s. The missile features an active radar seeker and can engage targets at ranges of up to 50 kilometers. The missile is intended to fit into light aircraft such as F-5, Mirage and F-16.

The I-Derby MR, also known as the Derby with booster or Derby-MR, is an all weather, medium range, surface-to-air missile featuring derived from the I-Derby missile. It can shot down airborne threats at ranges of up to 35 km and flying at altitudes of up to 16,000 meters thanks to a rocket booster which enhances the range of the I-Derby missile. This missile was developed as part of the SPYDER-MR medium-range air defense system in the early 2010s.

The I-Derby ER is a long-range air-to-air missile featuring kinematic improvements to extend its effective range to up to 100 kilometers. The missile keeps the I-Derby active radar seeker. Rafael is developing this missile to fit into F-5, Mirage, F-16, Gripen, F/A-50 and LCA. The missile is also intended for the SPYDER short and medium range air defense systems. The I-Derby ER missile is designed to destroy fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs), standoff weapons and cruise missiles.
