The Hoveyzeh is a medium-range ground launched cruise missile developed indigenously by the Islamic Republic of Iran under its arms program. The missile has a maximum range of 1,350 kilometers flying at very low altitude to minimize radar detection and is intended to engage well known assets such as industrial facilities and infrastructures with great accuracy. The cruise missile was developed by Iran Aviation Industries Organization (IAIO) and is intended to be deployed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The Hoveyzeh cruise missile was unveiled in February 2019.
