The Bell 360 Invictus is light attack and reconnaissance helicopter featuring stealth design and launched to complete for the US Army’s Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft (FARA). The Bell 360 is similar to the cancelled RAH-66 Comanche with missiles carried inside weapons bay to minimize the aircraft’s radar signature. Bell launched this new rotorcraft program in October 2019. If selected for the FARA program the new helicopter could achieve initial operational capability by 2030.
The US Army canceled the FARA program in February 2024.
