The Chonma-2 North Korean Main Battle Tank (MBT) is a new heavyweight tank showcased during a military parade in Pyongyang in October 2020. The tank was identified wrongly with the Russian-made T-14 Armata by the US media. The Korean tank features a manned turret equipped with a 125mm gun and with two anti-tank missiles placed at the right side. The tank may feature some sort of active protection system (APS) to defeat incoming anti-tank guided missiles.
