The Kamaz-43118 is a 20-ton class, 6x6 flexible and mobile multipurpose truck system intended to carry personnel and cargo as part of the logistics support for military and peacekeeping missions. It is also suitable for other applications such as water/fuel tank bodies carrier, loading cranes, special purpose vans, and various weapon systems platform. This truck can tow trailers and keep on moving through desert sands and along stony tracks, over scree and mud, snow and ice thanks to its all-wheel drive climbing the most extreme gradients, ford rivers and chase across any terrain. It is powered by a Kamaz 740.30 Euro 2 turbocharged diesel V8 engine developing 245-hp of power or alternatively a Kamaz 740.12 Euro 1 turbocharged diesel V8 engine developing 249-hp of power.

Kamaz created three classes of multipurpose vehicles with 6-ton, 8-ton and 10-ton axial load developing a full range of 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 military trucks sharing 85 percent of components and designed to meet military requirements. The trucks have the option of an armored cab including hidden armoring of the cab. The Kamaz-43118 truck is able to carry up to 10-ton payload and towing a trailer of 12-ton. Kamaz has produced this truck system for the Russian Ministry of Defense and export customers across the world.

KamAZ Truck Maker Signs Indonesia Sales Deal

MOSCOW, February 25 (RIA Novosti) – Russia’s largest truck maker KamAZ has signed a deal to sell and eventually assemble its vehicles in Indonesia, a company official told RIA Novosti.
