The Gabbiano is a family of small and compact surveillance radar systems developed to fit into a wide variety of platforms such as Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs), helicopters and Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA). So far the Gabbiano radar family has been integrated onto the Hermes 450, Hermes 900, Falco Evo, AW101, AW139, KC-390, King Air 350 and ATR42MP aircraft. The Gabbiano surveillance radar family has been sold to 12 customers worldwide. The Gabbiano TS Ultra-Light (UL) is a new version introduced in June 2017 to be provided to small unmanned aircraft.
